Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from interviewskillscoach.co.uk (the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site.  We may use software tools to measure and collect session information, including page response times, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information, and methods used to browse away from the page. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”. 

We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

– “Log files” track actions occurring on the Site, and collect data including your IP address, browser type, Internet service provider, referring/exit pages, and date/time stamps.

– “Web beacons”, “tags”, and “pixels” are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Site.

We also collect personally identifiable information (including name, email, password, communications) when logging in is required; Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your first name and surname, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, Paypal reference), email address, and phone number. (if entered), company name (if entered) and product(s) ordered. We refer to this information as “Order Information”.

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information and Order Information.

Use of our website and platform by children

We don’t knowingly collect personal data about children. For this purpose, a ‘child’ means anyone under the age of 13 or the age of majority where you’re based.

HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

– Communicate with you;

– Screen our orders for potential risk or fraud; and

– When in line with the preferences you have shared with us, provide you with information or advertising relating to our products or services.

– assist in promotional material on the site or for off the site.

– comply with any applicable laws and regulations.

We may contact you to notify you regarding your account, to troubleshoot problems with your account, to resolve a dispute, to collect fees or monies owed, to poll your opinions through surveys or questionnaires, to send updates about our company, or as otherwise necessary to contact you to enforce our User Agreement, applicable national laws, and any agreement we may have with you. For these purposes we may contact you via email, telephone, online messenger, facebook and text messages.

We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimise our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns); to provide and operate the services; To create aggregated statistical data and other aggregated and/or inferred Non-personal Information, which we or our business partners may use to provide and improve our respective services; To be able to contact our Visitors and Users with general or personalised service-related notices and promotional messages;

All direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

We share your Personal Information with third parties to help us use your Personal Information, as described above. For example, our company is hosted on the WordPress.com platform. Wix.com provides us with the online platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you. Your data may be stored through WordPress.com’s data storage, databases and the general WordPress.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall.

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. DO NOT TRACK

If your website tracks personal information through the use of cookies, for example, you must make this clear to your site visitors. Be clear about what tracking tools (e.g. cookies, flash cookies, web beacons, etc.,) your website employs, what personal information they gather and why they are being used.

It’s important to note that third-party services, such as Google Analytics or other applications offered through the WordPress App Market, placing cookies or utilising other tracking technologies through WordPress services, may have their own policies regarding how they collect and store information. As these are external services, such practices are not covered by the WordPress Privacy Policy.

REQUEST FOR FREEDOM OF INFORMATION (FOI)

Requesting an FOI will incur an administration charge of £100.  To request an FOI please go to Kevin@InterviewSkillsCoach.co.uk and request an “FOI Request Form”.  Failure to follow this process will result in your request not be completed.  We will take up to and no longer than 30 days to respond to your request from the date the FOI has been received by Interview Skills Coach.

QUIZ DATA RETENTION

When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

Many of our quizzes, surveys, and forms are created using Quiz And Survey Master.

The data the software collects

In order to distinguish individual users, IP addresses are collected and stored with the responses.

Each individual form may have fields for a variety of other personal information, such as name and email. This data is needed to identify and possibly communicate with the user. There may be other fields asking for personal information and this data may be for different purposes for each quiz, survey, or form. If any data is to be used for purposes other than grading or survey purposes, this will be disclosed on the form itself.

How long we retain your data

The responses and data attached to the responses are stored indefinitely until an administrator of this site deletes the responses.

It is also stored with a 3rd party MailChimp for use in on going marketing.

Where we send your data

Quiz And Survey Master does not send any of your data to a 3rd party anywhere outside of this site by default.

CHANGES

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
